Zakala's Poetry
She keeps it in an alabaster shroud
Sometimes apart, she spreads her soul wide
Drinking in the moonlight
Drinking in the clouds

Masquerade
Today you went away
And I'm still waiting here for you
I fill my time with thoughts
Of butterflies and empty rooms
You don't know what it’s like
To leave me here alone
Oh now can't you see
I'm dying on my own
And now I'm standing here with nothing left to say
You've taken everything, all that I could pay
My life has nothing left but simple melodies
The tunes of life I had are all that's left for me
This is my happy song
That filled my heart and made me glad
But now the music's died
And dreams are all the friends I have
This is a happy song
That filled my heart when you were near
The mask I wore for you
Has cracked and warped and shows my fear
And now I'm standing here with nothing left to say
You've taken everything, all that I could pay
My life has nothing left but simple melodies
The tunes of life I had are all that's left for me
There's something deep inside
That fell apart so long ago
My life has fallen down
And time just passes me so slow
Come back to me my love
And I will try to come to you
I'm lost inside my mind
With someone else's darkened view
And now I'm standing here with nothing left to say
You've taken everything, all that I could pay
My life has nothing left but simple melodies
The tunes of life I had are all that's left for me
